To enter the competition:  

1. Submit a written business plan using the registration form below, based on the First Round Submission Template (download here).
   • The business plan may not exceed 7 total pages (including spreadsheets, graphics, illustrations or photos).
   • Business plan must be submitted in PDF format.
2. Submit PayPal payment for the $25 entrance fee before the 11:59pm deadline! (the entry fee is reduced this year due to COVID)!

Awardees of HIplan prize(s) will verify their business is Hawaii-Island-registered and not in violation of Federal, State, or County Laws. They will submit tax clearance and sign a binding award letter contract. *

Prize money will be spent as described in a budget attached to the signed award letter. A followup report six months after the award will be submitted that details expenditures of the HIplan award including original receipts for expenditures. *
